Super Mario Shot (In honor of New Super Mario Brothers for the Wii)

Ingredients:
1 cl Grenadine
1 cl Blue Bols
1 cl Tequila silver

Directions:
Add the Grenadine first. Then pour Bols, slowly over a bar spoon. The Tequila goes on top.

The Master Sword (Legend of Zelda Cocktail)

Ingredients:
1 shot Gin
1/2 shot Blueberry Vodka
2 shots Blue Raspberry Martini Mix
Smallest Splash of Grenadine

Directions: Shake Gin, Vodka, and Martini Mix and pour into martini glass.  Add Grenadine until the color is right.

This is the second original drink I have featured on the site.  It was a ton of fun to make and even more fun to drink.  The blueberry vodka that I used was actually home-infused, meaning I had to prepare it myself and let it sit in a closet for two weeks.  That, and the small amount of grenadine, gave it a great color and wonderful sweet taste with a bite.  I hope you all enjoy it!

Yoshi (Mario Cocktail)

Ingredients:

2 cl Sour Apple liqueur
1 cl Melon Bols
1 cl Lime juice
4 cl Apple juice

Directions: Shake. Serve with ice.  Use two lime wedges as garnishes.

Wii Bowling Drinking Game

Christmas Day I spent a good bit of time playing Wii Bowling, on my cousin’s new Wii, with my cousin, dad, grandfather, and grandmother.  My grandmother won and I’m not sure yet if I feel proud or ashamed.  At the time I was drinking on of my cousin’s favorite beers, Hoegaarden, and thought my next post should be a Wii Bowling drinking game.  After all, people have been mixing beer and bowling forever.  Here is WiiAreDrunk.com’s version.

First, get lots of beer.

Rules are as follows:

- If you don’t mark (spare or strike), take the amount of sips of pins you hit. 
- Give out 1: get a spare. 
- Give out 2: get a strike. 
- Give out 10: pickup a split. 
- Take in 15: Beer Frame (you’re the only one who DIDN’T strike) 
- Make a Rule: Bowl a Turkey. 
- Finish your drink: If you throw the ball behind you.

1-Up Mushroom Tequila Cork (Mario Craft)

This little piece of homemade awesomeness was made by Geekologie.com reader, Bexx B.  After finishing her Trader Joe Tequila (note to self: try Trader Joe’s Tequila), she noticed that the cork had a familiar shape to it.  Add some creativity to that alcohol and voila!  1-Up mushroom.
