The Rainbow Road Shot Challenge The Drunken Moogle reader Mar and her husband submitted a combination of shots, meant to be taken together, called the Rainbow Road Shot challenge. Princess Peach (Super Mario Bros. Cocktail) Drinks made for peach seem to be pretty popular in number, there are three already on the site, but never seem to disappoint.  Here is the description for the Princess Peach cocktail that is served at Mana Bar. “Light long refreshing peach-flavoured attack with a large measure of Bombay Sapphire Gin, fresh lemon juice and Australian peaches muddled with a touch of peach liquor, served long and topped with sparkling water.” (Drink created by Mana Bar’s Shay Leighton)

Princess Peach Sangria (Super Mario Brothers Cocktail) Ingredients:3 oz. Riesling (chilled would probably be best) 1 oz. sparkling water 0.5 oz. Triple Sec 0.5 oz. pear juice 1 tsp. sugar 1/4 tsp. grenadinedash of lime juice Some sliced peaches  Directions: Mix everything except the peaches and sparkling water in a shaker. Shake with ice if the wine isn’t chilled. Place peaches in the bottom of a glass, pour in the shaken mixture and add the sparkling water. (Drink created and photographed by Kenneth Love. Directions: Mix everything except the peaches and sparkling water in a shaker. Shake with ice if the wine isn’t chilled. Place peaches in the bottom of a glass, pour in the shaken mixture and add the sparkling water.

Warp Pipe (Super Mario Bros. Cocktail) Ingredients:3/4 shot Blue Curacao1/2 bottle Mike’s Hard Limeade1/2 shot Bols Melon1/2 Lime (cut into wedges) Directions: Cut your half a lime into four wedges.  Squeeze the lime juice into a highball glass and then drop them in the bottom.  Add some ice overtop the limes, then pour in the Blue Curacao.  Add the Mike’s Hard Limeade until the glass is almost full, then top with your Bols Melon.  Stir a bit with a straw and enjoy.  Tip: make sure you don’t add too much Bols Melon, or the melon flavor will overpower the lime.  This is a great summer drink! 3/4 shot Blue Curacao
1/2 bottle Mike’s Hard Limeade
1/2 shot Bols Melon
1/2 Lime (cut into wedges)
