The Drunken Moogle

Metal Blade (Mega Man 2 cocktail) Ingredients:30 ml Silver tequila (Camino Real used)15 ml Pineapple liqueur (Ananas Garoeda Black Pineapple used)15 ml Lime juice1 Lime wheel Directions: Rim a cocktail glass with sugar, for the “blade”.  Stir the liquid ingredients and strain into the glass.  Garnish with a lime wheel.  Serve and, when in doubt, hit that sucka with a Metal Blade! caoine: The Good Doctor (Mega Man / The Protomen cocktail) Ingredients:  Bourbon (recommend Maker’s Mark, Bulleit, or Knob Creek), as much as you can handle SNAP (a ginger liqueur) to taste Ginger beer (ideally Reed’s Extra Ginger Brew or Gosling’s Ginger Beer) 2 Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine cherries Directions: To make Doctor Light’s cocktail, mix all ingredients and serve on the rocks in a lowball glass. Spear the two cherries on a cocktail toothpick and place on top. Emma Story, the drink’s creator, explains, “There was some discussion a while back about how shameful it is that the Drinkify entry for the Protomen is… a Bud Light. While I’ve been known to drink whatever shitty beer is available when the occasion calls for it, I figured we could do better than that… This has been a favorite cocktail of mine for a while, and I have served it to both K.I.L.R.O.Y. and the Reanimator with good results.” Drink created and photographed by Emma Story.

Emma Story, the drink’s creator, explains, “There was some discussion a while back about how shameful it is that the Drinkify entry for the Protomen is… a Bud Light. Quick Boomerang (Mega Man 2 Shot) Ingredients:15 ml Passimo passion fruit liqueur15 ml vodka1 lemon peel   Directions: Pour in the passion fruit liqueur, then layer the vodka on top.  Cut a boomerang-like shape out of the lemon peel and add it to the top before serving.  Like Quick Man, this drink is fast! Blue Bomber (Mega Man Cocktail)

Ingredients:
1 shot Blue Curacao
1 shot Sake
1 E-Tank (Mega Man Energy Drink)

Directions: This is much like the Bombchu, but a bit more basic. Drain one E-Tank into a bar glass.  Mix the one shot of Blue Curacao and add to taste.  For effect, pour Sake into a metal shaker lid. Drop the shot into the bar glass and drink quickly.

Such a powerful reaction could only be Fizzion! You can also funnel this into a stylized can and enjoy! And as always, no underage drinking; Rock may look boyish, but he’s Mega Man.

Big-Bang Blast (Mega Man cocktail) Ingredients:2 shots Blackberry BrandyOrange Juice Directions: Fill a low ball glass about 2/3 full of orange juice.  Then, pour about two shots of the blackberry brandy very slowly over a spoon on top.  If done right, it creates a nice swirling effect.  Side story to this drink:  I recently found out about the band, The Protomen.  They have two albums that make up a rock opera based on the story of Mega Man.  However, it’s not just some nerdy joke; the story is one of the best narratives I’ve heard through music and the songs are deep.  Give them a listen.  This drink is named after Protoman’s special attack.
