Mario Kart Drinking Game Got a few beers and a Nintendo console?  Then Mario Kart is a must.  You can play this with any Mario Kart game but keep in mind, if you play with the Wiimote as a steering wheel, things will probably be a LOT harder after a few rounds. The rules are simple. Rules for playing with beer: Get hit by a shell or false item box = 1 sipGet hit by a person using a star = 3 sipsGet hit by a lightning bolt = 3 sipsGet hit by a character’s special item = 4 sips1st Place laps you = 5 sips (for every time they do)Fall off the course = Drink until you are put back onCome in last place = finish your drinkWinner of the race gets to choose one player to drink half a drink.  If they don’t have half left, they just finish their bottle. The Rainbow Road Shot Challenge The Drunken Moogle reader Mar and her husband submitted a combination of shots, meant to be taken together, called the Rainbow Road Shot challenge. Since then, I’ve received about 50 emails with explaining a game dubbed “Beerio Kart.” The game is all over the internet, so its exact origins are unknown, but to it’s creator let me say this: Congratulations, my friend. You have created one awesome game. Beerio Kart can be played with any version of Mario Kart. The rules state that in order to win, a player must first finish a beer before crossing the finish line first. The catch? Players must bring their vehicles to a complete stop before drinking anything. In order to enforce this rule, an outsider may play the “traffic cop” and watch for players who start drinking too early. So crack open a few beers, grab some friends and race your way to victory! Thank you to everyone who emailed me about this game. And if you are the creator, thank you! Also, moogles, never drink and drive in real life. Keep it in-game, where it’s fun and safe.
