The Chocobo Cocktail Video
While in LA for E3 I had the great opportunity to make some videos with some very talented people. Fellow Geek & Sundry Vlogger Cristina Viseu shot me making the Chocobo cocktail, created by Heidi from the Retro Video Gaming Blog. It’s perfect for a day at the Golden Saucer race tracks!

How about some nice Aperture Science bubbly? It will take you to the moon!
Gae Bolg (Final Fantasy XIV cocktail)
.75 oz Blue Curacao
1.5 oz Bacardi Dragon Berry
5 oz Limeaid
Dragoons have always been one of my favorite classes in Final Fantasy games, and XIV is no exception. To coincide with Geek & Sundry’s own Nika Harper making a REAL Gae Bolg on Arcade Arms, I thought I might create a drink in honor of the legendary spear. This strawberry lime mix, with a hint of curacao, this cocktail is great for a hot summer day after hours of slaying dragons. Check out how to craft the drink in the video below and let me know your favorite Final Fantasy class in the comments!
Drinking Quest Trilogy - Kickstarter
We’ve told you about the Drinking Quest games before. They’re fun, light tabletop RPGs that are also drinking games! They’re great for introducing friends to pen and paper RPGs over a few drinks.
Now, the entire trilogy will be available in one box, with new improvements and bonuses. Fully colored cards for games 1 and 2, a combat system with multiple dice, larger cards, and even 3 new quests await heroes on a humorous boozy adventure.
The Kickstarter has been funded, but there’s still a week left to attain stretch goals. My favorite of these is an entire new quest inspired by everyone’s favorite Blue Bomber.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Kickstarter without a ton of pledge rewards. Want to play a game of Drinking Quest with Mitch from The Drunken Moogle, Jason Anarchy (the creator of Drinking Quest), and Blake Boston (Scumbag Steve)? It’s your lucky day, because that’s one of the perk levels!
