*edit* Suggestion from Aergonaut: “Serve with blue rock candy for the perfect thematic combination. Make sure to call out in your best overseer impression when you run out of either.”
Video Game (and other assorted geekery) Glassware Sale
In March, The Drunken Moogle featured an awesome Zelda Triforce glass, created by Etsy.com user AradiaDiane. Recently, she has let me know that anyone who mentions The Drunken Moogle when buying a tumbler glass from her store will get a matching shot glass for free!
Also there have been talks of a give-away contest! More on that, though, tomorrow.
My Old Friend (Hotel Dusk: Room 215 Cocktail)
Ingredients:
1 shot Bourbon
1 shot Wild Turkey American Honey
Stem of Mint
Directions: Pour over ice in a rocks glass. Add a few leaves of mint to the top.
Note: If you’re patient, I highly suggest infusing this drink with mint for a day or two. Just mix all the ingredients in a bottle and let it sit. The result is fantastic!
As correctly answered in the trivia question yesterday, Kyle Hyde, from Hotel Dusk: Room 215, starts every drinking night with a bourbon. In the bar scene, Louis starts him off with an 8-year-old double. In honor of Hyde, this drink is a double bourbon with a sweeter taste, thanks to the American Honey (yes, it has to be American Honey. Normal Wild Turkey won’t do). Though it may be simple, this is a drink Hyde would love.
“The glass is filled with bourbon. My old friend.” -Kyle Hyde

T-Virus Antidote (Resident Evil Shot)
Ingredients:
3/4 shot Silver Rum
1/4 shot Watermelon Vodka
1 Green Twizzler
Directions: Wind a green Twizzler around a tall double shot glass. It should stick to the sides of the glass. Pour in the silver rum and top with the watermelon Vodka. Drink, then eat the Twizzler. You will have to fish out the Twizzler with your finger after you drink, as it will still be stuck to the side of the shot glass.
Accidentally drink/get infected with the T-Virus? Well, there’s only two cures for that, and one is a bullet (probably not choice number one). The second, more fun choice is to ingest the antidote, which was luckily made just in time.
This is part of a series of Resident Evil drinks I’ve been making. More to come!

T-Virus (Resident Evil Shot)
Ingredients:
3/4 shot Silver Rum
1/4 shot Everclear
1 Blue Twizzler
Directions: Wind a blue Twizzler around a tall double shot glass. It should stick to the sides of the glass. Pour in the silver rum and top with the Everclear. Drink, then eat the Twizzler for a sweet and tangy aftertaste. You will have to fish out the Twizzler with your finger after you drink, as it will still be stuck to the side of the shot glass.
If you get infected with the T-Virus, don’t worry. Just take the T-Virus Antidote!
