ifeelthecosmos: Michiru Hoshino (Katamari Damacy mocktail)
Ingredients:2 oz White cranberry juice1/2 oz Sour mix1 splash Ginger ale
Directions: Shake all ingredients with ice, garnish with a maraschino cherry. A note from the creator:

This mocktail is essentially a virgin cosmopolitan, to feel this drink a bit more simply omit the ginger ale in favor of a splash of the cranberry juice, and add 1 1/2 oz of Citron vodka and 1/2 oz of Cointreau.

A note from the creator:

We settled on mirroring the main character’s robe colours and choosing a drink that would be easy to recreate… Don’t serve upside down like in the picture.

Yoko Kanno (Cowboy Bebop cocktail)
Ingredients:1.5 oz Rye Whiskey1 oz Sake.5 oz Cointreau1 dash of Peychaud’s bitters
Directions: Combine all ingredients in a shaker, add ice, shake, and strain.
Yoko Kanno is the composer behind legendary soundtracks such as Cowboy Bebop, Wolf’s Rain, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and others. This drink was created with the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack in mind, as explained by Eddie, the creator:

I had the idea for this drink after listening to the soundtrack to Cowboy Bebop. It’s easy to do drinks based on a character, location, or a series, but no one has done a drink based on an abstract concept like music. I figured it was high time to have a truly jazzy drink and you can’t get much more jazzy than Rye Whiskey. The name for the drink comes from the composer of the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack, Yoko Kanno.

See you, Space Cowboy.
