The Drunken Moogle

Golden Chocobo (Final Fantasy Cocktail) Ingredients: 1/2 shot of Goldschlager Cinnamon Schnapps Liqueur1/2 shot of Wild Turkey’s American Honey1 Can of Ginger Ale Directions: Shake the American Honey and Goldschlager and pour into an Irish coffee glass.  Add the ginger ale until the glass is full and then stir to mix up the gold particles.  Go to the race track, bet on your favorite chocobo, drink and profit. With Final Fantasy XIII being released everywhere outside Japan this Tuesday, I thought it was time to make a Final Fantasy drink.  The Goldschlager gives the drink a strong cinnamon taste and the gold flakes add a nice visual touch for a drink made in honor of the prized golden chocobo.  Wild Turkey American Honey is a nice “smooth liqueur blended with pure honey and bourbon whiskey.”  It’s quiet sweet but still has a nice bourbon flavor, great to drink alone if you have the chance.  Mixed all together, the drink has a sweet bite and nice aftertaste.  I hope you all will enjoy it while you play Final Fantasy XIII next week!
